Who We Are

CCA is an award-winning nonprofit agency offering alternative sentencing programs to people convicted of crime who are ready to make positive changes in their lives. Our residential and nonresidential programs give individuals the opportunity to avoid jail time, when appropriate, and receive intensive rehabilitation that will make it possible for them to create better lives for themselves and their families. We also provide thousands of hours of community service in Mahoning County annually.

CASE MANAGER

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with two years of experience in social services, or master’s degree
  • Knowledge of the criminal justice system, behavioral process and integrated staff format
  • Ability to relate with the client population and coordinate treatment activities

Description

The position reports directly to the facility's Program Director. The hours of work range from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or noon to 8 p.m. on select days. The scheduled days off for this position will either be Fridays and Saturdays or Sundays and Mondays.

Residential Supervisor II (Full-Time)

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • (Preferred) Four-year degree in Criminal Justice/ Social Service or have experience in a residential treatment facility
  • Good interpersonal and crisis intervention skills and a caring/ professional work ethic

Description

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitoring resident movement
  • Monitoring residents and facility for contraband
  • Conducting urinalysis collections
  • Gathering breath-alcohol collections
  • Monitoring house chores
  • Enforcing program rules
  • Conducting hourly accountability checks

Resident Supervisor II (Part-Time)

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • (Preferred) Four-year degree in Criminal Justice/ Social Service or have experience in a residential treatment facility
  • Good interpersonal and crisis intervention skills and a caring/ professional work ethic

Description

Multiple part-time positions available to cover all three shifts - 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., 4 p.m. to midnight, and midnight to 8 a.m. Applicants must be flexible. Those selected will be added to a pool of part-time staff based on their availability. Those selected should be able to work as needed.

Volunteers

Description

We are looking for 12-step recovery support group volunteers in AA, CA, and NA for our male and female residential facilities. Volunteer hours are mostly evening and weekends.
